Hello, beautiful people! How are you all? How have you been? I hope all is well because for me I’ve been torturing my skin all month because of work and leisure that I forget to wash my face at times. Disgusting, I know. A huge beauty no-no, I know. As a result, I saw the consequences of my actions and my skin definitely suffered from dry skin to dark circles and everything weird in between. It was a hot mess in short.
Thus, I owe my September to the products below because without it I think I would’ve aged for years!
1. iWhite Products
iWhite products definitely got me through the month not only because of its affordable price but also for its quality. Priced at around 20 pesos, the product is at the cheaper side but this lasted me for almost 3 weeks especially the face masks. The moisturizer, on the other hand, is the real MVP on my list because its light on the skin and non-greasy. The peel-off mask is okay but I prefer the wash-off mask instead.
- iWhite Products are available at Watsons and convenience stores.
2. Zivine Organics 100% Organic Castor Oil
This is my first time to try castor oil after hearing bundles of goodness about it. Forgetting to wash the face before bed not only harms your skin but also your facial hair like eyelashes. Leaving mascara overnight clumps on to the lashes and pulling some out when rinsing. Believe me, I know 🙁 So, I started applying castor oil on the lashes before bed or after I wash my face. I do see a difference and I think it helped strengthen my lashes. In addition, castor oil is also great for chapped lips! It’s definitely a win. (I’ll discuss more in a separate blog)

3. Maybelline B.B. White
Achieving a fresh look is a struggle to achieve if you are under stress. Thus, with no time for makeup in the morning, I use Maybelline’s B.B. White which has light to medium coverage which is great because it does not look cakey and you have a glow on your skin after application. Only thing I don’t like about it is that it takes some time to settle and it very sticky so do not forget to set with powder.
4. Maybelline Creamy Mattes
Let’s talk about Matte! I have been loving these two lately because despite being matte it doesn’t feel like a desert on your lips if anything it is hydrating. The colors are also on point and very versatile. It matches any look with any outfit!
5. Human Nature 100% Natural Hair Serum
My hair is a different story. It is not the kind to play with nor is friends with brushing too. And having colored hair is simply the worst if you don’t maintain the tedious process of keeping it calm. Thus, the Human Nature 100% Organic Hair Serum has been a life saver since it calms my hair while keeping it soft and easier to brush.
Yes! That wraps up my September and I look forward to another month hopefully we will all be good to our skin this time. Thank you so much for your time reading! Comment your September favorite below too 🙂
