Let’s talk about those pouty lips! Oh, but before that, life update! I’ve got braces on recently and its been hell doing my favorite things like eating and putting on lipstick. This sucks and it really takes time getting used to so if you have any recommendations please do help a sister out and comment down below 🙂 Back to the lips, here are my tips that I have tried and tested to keep your lips crack free and lipstick ready for the day, thanks to Lioele.

This cute packaging though~

Scrub Your Canvass

Lips can dry out easily especially when you love matte lipsticks like me! Throughout the day, the drying formula can dehydrate your lips and leave them a little torn. So, it is highly essential to prep your lips before putting anything on. I suggest brushing your toothbrush gently on the lips or making your own lip scrub with home ingredients coconut oil, brown sugar, and honey (if it is available). You can do this a few times a week only but not every day.

Moisturize and Hydrate

Next up is moisturizing and hydrating the lips. Moisturizing is not simply putting on your Chapstick and calling it a day but also drinking your 8 glasses of water to hydrate from the inside.

They say there are two kinds of girls, the ones who need lipstick to get their day started, and the ones who moisturize and go. But, why not be both right? Lioele’s Bubi Bubi Tint Balm does just the thing. It leaves your lips plump with a healthy glowing color to match. Plus! It smells great too.

A Pop of Color Won’t Hurt Anybody

Each person’s skin tone can determine which lip color matches you perfectly and can bring out those pearly whites. If you’re like me and you have a fair skin tone with a touch of pink undertones, a lip color with a blue undertone can match you just right. Lioele Lip Color Stick just does the thing! What I love about it is it’s not shy when it comes to pigmentation and a little goes a long way.

Lioele’s Bubi Bubi Tint Balm

To be honest, I was a little skeptical about it. This is because, according to Lioele, the Lip Color Stick: Shines like a gloss, Moisturizes like a lip balm, and Stays like a tint. For its price at Php 322.00, it sounds like a dream! But having tried it on my own, I was able to find out that, yes, it does shines like a gloss and stays like a tint but for moisturizing factors, I prefer to add the Lioele Bubi Bubi Lip Tint for an extra layer of hydration. I was pleasantly surprised that these two go well together too.

Lioele’s Lip Color Stick

This holiday season, show your lips some love! Especially for people like me who live in Baguio City and suffer from chapped lips, regular lip balms won’t do. Take it up a notch by making your own lip scrubs and adding your favorite lip products after.
